Frozen Dining Package Review
Frozen is a new disney classic. When I was planning our upcoming Disneyland trip and found out their was a Frozen play and dining package, obviously I jumped on the opportunity!
Dining Package
The basics
The package promised a three course dinner at Carthay Circle restaurant and front row seating to the Frozen-Live at the Hyperion play. Jonathan and I had never been to that restaurant or play, which is rare that there is something in Disneyland that we have not yet explored! The time selections were minimal, around three selections a day due to the length of the dining experience and show. The restaurant experience was about an hour, and we chose a show that began two hours after our dining. The play itself took nearly two hours.
the experience
Upon arriving into the restaurant, we were greeted with beautiful classic decor and a full service bar. The dining is upstairs (an elevator is available) and it feels as if you are walking into a more classical time. The wait staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating (which we witnessed first hand having difficult dining neighbors). The pricing is $89 per adult and $59 per child. The lanyard and pin alone could otherwise be bought for almost $25, so that felt better to us as far as a deal went. You have a choice of food from a special event menu that does not disappoint. The food was delicious and served quickly! We were also surprised with a fun dessert! On our table we were given a Frozen themed lanyard with a Frozen pin and special access badge. Although the restaurant and menu is kid friendly, I would highly recommend this as a date night experience as well.

the show
After our meal, we headed over to the backstage area of the Hyperion. We were allowed entry 20 minutes before those who waited in line for the show which can be over a two hour wait in line. If we had waited in line for this show, we would have been incredibly disappointed. Our seats this way were second row (there was front row available, but we wanted kids to be able to sit there) and we were comfortable waiting since we were eating. I much rather of chosen the package than eaten a cheaper but lower quality quick service meal in line. The play itself was entertaining, but not as good as the old Aladdin play. All the kids in the room seemed to enjoy it though! Overall, if you have it in the budget and are planning to see Frozen Live anyways, I would highly recommend the experience!
